The top 10 news for migrant human rights in 2020 can be found meaningful in that it is the news chosen by migrants and related people such as NGO staff.

The top 10 news keywords for migrant human rights in 2020 are exclusion and discrimination.

By ranking: 1. The Constitutional appeal to Restrict Changes to workplaces under the Employment Permit System for migrants 2. Exclusion of Disaster Subsidies for Migrants 3. The discrimination in distribution of Public Masks for Migrants 4. Call for the Enactment of the Anti-Discrimination Act.

Among the news, discrimination-related articles were the most, with 46% of the total, which was Public masks distribution, Disaster subsidy, Special child care subsidy Non-face-to-face learning subsidies and 80% of migrants in the flood were excluded from flood damage subsidies even though they were migrant workers.

2020 is the year when human rights in Korean society were revealed by Corona 19. Migrants are facing discrimination in various parts of society, including public masks, disaster subsidies, foreign student care subsidies, disaster information letters, and self-isolation. The rapid raising of issues by migrant human rights camps against such discrimination led to institutional improvement, but government policies and politicians taking migrant discrimination for granted have not changed.
